How "Industry 5.0 Incubation Program" Works?
The Programme Cohort Kick starts every year with “Explore Partner and Grow” a two-week Industry 5.0 Entrepreneurial Summer Boot-Camp at London South Bank University."
This program consists of 3 main phases.

- 2 weeks entrepreneurial Summer Bootcamp
- 12 weeks Incubation Program for the winners of Startup Ideas
LSBU Global’s Industry 5.0 Startup Idea Competition
LSBU Global’s Industry 5.0 Startup Idea Competition is held every year in January in collaboration with LSBU Global’s partner Universities worldwide. The competition is planned, executed, managed and concluded using Startupden’s Digital Competition Management Platform, to help participants form skill-based global partnerships for their startup venture
2 weeks entrepreneurial Summer Bootcamp
The boot camp is a jet-packed hands-on training sessions and workshops designed to equip students with both soft and hard entrepreneurial skills. This intensive program empowers them to “Explore, Partner, and Grow” in the global Industry 4.0 landscape, providing the tools to navigate cutting-edge technologies, foster strategic collaborations, and cultivate the mindset necessary to scale and succeed in this dynamic environment.

- Think Win-Win: Seek mutual benefit and respect in relationships.
- Seek First to Understand, Then to Be Understood: Listen empathically and communicate effectively.
- Synergize: Collaborate and leverage diversity.
- Sharpen the Saw: Renew and improve yourself.
Day 3:
Self-awareness and Team building Workshop will cover:
- Psychometric Personality Assessment for self-awareness and match-making complementary skills for winning Team Building.
- Using Emotional Intelligence to Identify your emotional blind spot to reduce conflict.
- Effectively reading and using positive Body Language to improve communication among the Team.
Day 4:
Guest Lectures from Industry covering:
- What entrepreneurship is and its link with Digital innovation.
- Recognize the role of innovation and entrepreneurship in a modern, Digital knowledge economy.
- Time management and organization and Sharing personal experience
Day 5:
Industry 4.0 Branding and Marketing
- Personal and Business Branding: Business Names, Branding, Logo
- Industry 4.0 Marketplace and Digital Marketing.
- Disruptive Industry 4.0 Digital Startup Business Idea Brainstorming Sessions
Bootcamp Week-02 Commencing from 1st July 2024-Daily Activity Plan
Day 1:
Full Day workshop titled “How to Learn a New Skill in One Hour” will cover the following to boost your skill set for your entrepreneurial venture:
- Digital Startup Skill Toolkit and checklist to train the participants on how to identify the missing skills required to create a digital startup venture.
- How to train yourself to gain missing skills to become highly effective.
- Industry 4.0 Skills Self-learning techniques and resources
- “Acquire a new skill in one-hour competition”, where each participant will be assigned a task to be completed within one hour while learning the new skill required to complete the job on the fly.
Day 2:
Full-Day Hands-on Workshops on Innovation Toolkit:
- Apply creativity techniques to generate new ideas and evaluate them.
- Prepare and use a digital Startup business plan for a new venture to determine the feasibility of a proposal, raise finance and monitor performance.
Day 3:
Full-Day Training Workshop to develop Participants skills to:
- Develop research skills and extend professional knowledge to clarify problems and take responsibility for furthering own learning.
- Cultivate interpersonal skills by working, communicating, and collaborating in a team on assigned projects as well as planning and managing personal time.
- Protecting your IPs against shared equity to raise financial muscles for your digital Startup Venture.
- Learning how to Prepare and Present business idea pitches to venture capitalists to seek further funding for your idea.
Day 4:
Mentorship for Global Industry 4.0 Startup Idea Pitch and Poster Preparations
- All the participants of bootcamp will be provided with mentorship, support and tools to prepare their Dragon’s Den styled Startup idea posters and pitches. This is an exciting and dynamic startup idea competition that offers aspiring entrepreneurs an incredible platform to showcase their innovative business ideas and make a lasting impact on solving social and business problems for emerging industry 4.0 marketplace.
Day 5:
Global Dragon’s Den Industry 4.0 Startup Idea Competition:
- On the last day of the Bootcamp, Dragon’s Den Judges panel consisting of Enterprise and innovation experts, Startup founders will be invited to review and rate all the presented Industry 4.0 Startup Idea Pitches/Presentations and Posters.
- First, Second and Third best poster presentation winners will be announced, and certificates will be awarded to the winners. Following evaluation criteria will be used.

The 12-week LSBU Global Industry 4.0 Incubation Programme Agenda
All Summer Bootcamp participants will receive a 12-week Virtual Incubation starting from September 19, 2024, under the LSBU Global Industry 4.0 Incubation Programme.
The 12-week Virtual Incubation is facilitated via the Startupden.org-powered Digital Virtual Incubation Platform.
During 12 Weeks of Virtual Incubation, each Incubatee will receive 19 hours of virtual coaching, training, mentoring and consultation

The Virtual Incubation Graduation ceremony, held via MS Teams on December 19, 2024, will award successful participants with completion certificates. Those Startups will join our Venture studio to benefit from our Acceleration Program and will receive support in preparing funding applications to pitch for grants, angel investments, and VC funds to facilitate their scale-up
